The Zebra ZD621 Direct Thermal is the ribbon-free version of Zebra's premium 4-inch ZD621 desktop printer. It creates text, barcodes and graphics by applying heat directly to coated direct thermal labels, tags, receipts or wristband media. Because a ribbon is not required, operators have fewer supplies to load, change and inventory, making the ZD621d well suited to high-activity workstations where fast media changes and simple daily operation are important.

The ZD621 Direct Thermal is available in 203 dpi and 300 dpi configurations. The 203 dpi model is a strong fit for common shipping, receiving, inventory, carton and retail labels. The 300 dpi model produces sharper small text, detailed graphics and compact 1D or 2D barcodes. Depending on the selected configuration, the printer can include USB, USB Host, Ethernet, serial, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with optional dispenser, cutter, linerless and battery-supported configurations.
