The Zebra DS2208-SR7U2100AZW is Zebra's black USB kit for the DS2208 corded barcode scanner from the DS2200 Series. It pairs the DS2208-SR00007ZZWW standard-range 1D/2D area imager with the CBA-U21-S07ZBR shielded USB cable, so the scanner is ready to plug into a USB host for point-of-sale and general scanning.

Compatibility

Not exactly. DS2208-SR00007ZZWW is the scanner itself (area imager, standard range, corded, Twilight Black). DS2208-SR7U2100AZW is Zebra's black USB kit that adds the CBA-U21-S07ZBR shielded USB cable. Zebra's product reference guide notes that the interface cable is ordered separately when you buy the scanner alone.
What is the CBA-U21-S07ZBR cable?
It is a Zebra shielded USB cable with a Series A connector, 7 ft (2.1 m) long and straight, with BC1.2 support. It differs from the CBA-U23-S07ZBR, which Zebra lists as a shielded USB cable with a Power Plus connector (12V).
Does this kit include a stand?
No stand is listed in Zebra's description of this kit, which covers the scanner and the USB cable. Zebra sells the Gooseneck Intellistand (for example part 20-71043-04R) separately for hands-free use.
Can it read QR codes and barcodes on phone screens?
Yes. The DS2208 decodes QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec and other 2D symbologies, and no special mode is needed to read barcodes on mobile phones.
